Lee Eon
Born in Gwangju, he studied art by himself.
He went into business after graduating from art college.
While the artist was looking at oriental paintings, he unexpectedly came up with a fusion of Korean traditional painting and digital processing. It led to his own technique called brush and splashing.
Lee Eon started to get love and support from the public as he introduced his works on social media in 2015
The artist, who pursues "practicalization of art", also incorporated a lot of products into his artworks, hoping his works harmonize with daily life.
He collaborated with a number of domestic and international corporations, as many people recognized him and his works. Now, he is concentrating on his artwork <No Matter>.
“ I approach models for paintings, focusing on what is at issue now.
With materials, I just quickly and intuitionally represent them as they are.
There’s no meaning behind artworks because I arbitrarily capture a moment.
There is no ascription of meaning to space and reality.
Whatever you are feeling and thinking, that is right.
Works are merely merchandise to me. “
